Some weddings are a challenge because of timing, organization… and weather.

Jessie and Nicolas wedding took place in Provence where weather is always sunny… except on this day.

So the garden party and cocktail with the saxophonist around the pool were cancelled. A little bit of luck before the dinner help us realize the bride and groom portrait.

But for all the day it was rainy.

What about the photographer, how to manage with rain?

Alexis: “On some countries you know you could get trouble with weather but in Provence you have to be very unlucky. But a bad weather produces untypical and unique pictures if you can handle the situation. Of course it’s harder than a ‘normal wedding’ but because of running guests, umbrellas, water reflection…etc, you can get an amazing result. I’m very proud of those I made on this wedding, black and white are more dramatically and enhance weather.

Days after, I showed some pictures to Jessie and Nicolas to help them relax, they were enthusiast of the result and how unique was the wedding”.

Some pictures of Julie and Yann wedding in South of France

Julie and Yann had wanted modern pictures for the bride and groom  shooting, and also a Fine Art picture of rings.

The wedding was shooted by Alexis Borel: “I had excellent and funny moments with Julie and Yann, they wanted something modern and original, it was my way. The shooting on railroad was a great idea… I love this kind of pictures, look likes a magazine shooting”.
